I was already concerned about the pitching staff this year and now it has become a major concern. With Cory Wade out a couple of months, Kuo having arm problems again, and Belisario having visa issues, things seem to be getting worse. The main thing these guys that aren't able to play do is eat up innings. The Dodgers already have some questions about their starting rotation but the bullpen was supposed to be their strength. Thinking about last year, it seemed that Wade was in like 85% of games, although that is probably a high estimation. It now certainly seems as if the Dodgers are going to be throwing out there some young guys that most people haven't heard of or some older guys that might be well past their prime. It definitely means the starters are going to have to get through more innings than in the past to get to the end of the bullpen and try to avoid the middle relievers. On another note, it was great seeing a lot of the so-called young guys making the all-decade team. I am still a true believer that with all the talent already in place, the Dodgers were right in not going out and making lots of changes this off season. I know it is perceived that the Dodgers didn't make many moves because of the divorce going on, but I think that wouldn't have happened anyway. Keep thew faith!
